Team SCK was formally established in year 2000 by Soong Chee Kieong, a former Cub Prix rider. Soong was one of the top riders in the Malaysian motorcycle racing scene in the ’90s and when he retired, his continued passion for the sport led to the formation of Team SCK.
As a former rider, Soong, was uniquely equipped to guide his team to success. Armed with a strong technical knowledge of motorcycles as well as an innate ability to coach and coax the best from his own stable of riders, this team was set to make history in the AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship right from the very beginning.
